doctorDB™ is a digital healthcare platform (“Healthcare Platform”) that is owned and operated by Angstrohm Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (“Angstrohm” or “we”), a company registered in Malaysia. doctorDB operates its services through the Web site located at www.doctordb.com (“Web site”) or through the mobile application that is available on various mobile platforms such as iOS and Android (“App”). The following Privacy Policy describes how we as a healthcare platform collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personally identifiable information that we collect about individuals (“personal information”) in connection with the services available from doctorDB.

References to the healthcare platform are deemed to include derivatives thereof, including but not necessarily limited to the App, mobile Web sites and applications. By visiting or using the Web site/App, you are consenting to the collection, use, disclosure and processing of your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy. You may at any time withdraw a consent granted hereunder by contacting us and stating so. In case of withdrawal, doctorDB will not process your Personal Data subject to this consent any longer unless legally required to do so. By creating and logging in to your account, you will be able to browse and purchase healthcare and consumer products, purchase home nursing and physiotherapy sessions or purchase home diagnostic services offered by the platform. It also lets you customise your profile with your photo, name, email, phone number, etc. 

You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself. We use this information to process your registration request, provide you with the services and communications that you request, customize features that appear on our healthcare platform.

Content You Post On Our Healthcare Platform

If you choose to post content to any of the interactive areas of our healthcare platform, such as discussion forums, comments fields, and social media areas, please keep in mind that the information you post can be seen, collected, and used by anyone who has access to those areas. You may also have the opportunity from time to time to respond to questions that we display to users of the Web site. Kindly note that while we endeavor to monitor all posts in our forum, you may find some post offensive to you. doctorDB uses 256-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology when processing your details. 256-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard.

Please note that all data collected by doctorDB shall be stored on secure Cloud-based Infrastructure.

Disclosure of Personal Information

We will not share your information with any other organizations other than our corporate group and those third parties directly related to and necessary for the purpose for which you have authorized. In exceptional circumstances, doctorDB may be required to disclose personal information when there are grounds to believe that the disclosure is necessary to prevent a threat to life or health, or required by the law. doctorDB is committed to comply with the Personal Data Protection law, in particular, its policies as well as corresponding guidelines and orders.

A Special Note About Minors

Persons under the age of 16 are not eligible to use the services on our Web site.

This Privacy Policy is only available  in the English language.
