Healthy Halloween

 

Candy can be sweet but deadly! We should be conscious of how much sugar we consume on the day when “trick-or-treat” usually means way too many treats (or generally, too much sugar) for the day. We can still keep with the Halloween theme by dressing up healthier snack options.

How about a ghostly banana? Or green apple monsters? Even the adults can have fun by decorating the halloween dinner table with fruits and vegetables in a shape of a scary creature.

And for kids with specific food allergies – parents, make sure you check the ingredients before allowing them to consume any questionable treats.
